| BLACKSHEAR-PIERCE County Recreation Department |
Our goal is to provide a diversified range of fun and creative recreational programs for all residents of Pierce County.
A primary focus of the Blackshear-Pierce County Recreation Department is the promotion of team sports. We believe that sports are an important part of growing up. A well structured athletic program can help children to learn positive values such as sportsmanship, integrity, self discipline, and leadership. Athletics allow children to build self confidence by providing opportunities to learn new skills and experience success. All activities sponsored by the Blackshear-Pierce County Recreation Department are designed to foster the ideals of good sportsmanship, fairplay, self expression, and a lifelong enjoyment of recreation.
