Welcome to Pierce County’s web site.
Pierce County is one of many counties in Ga. with a large growth percentage that is over 18 percent. There is much history in Pierce, we have a Civil War cemetery and one of the only hanging jails. Industry is starting to move into Pierce County for a multitude of reasons. One is you will not find better people anywhere than we have here.
The climate is almost perfect for farming so having said that we are a farming community that grows a diverse selection of crops including corn, pecans and we have some of the best soil and climate for blueberries that could be found anywhere on earth. Our schools and churches are some of the best you can find.
If you are looking for a place to raise you family or a place to retire we think you will find Pierce County a great place to live.
